Review: EVA Air International Business Class

I recently traveled in EVA’s International Business Class aboard a Boeing 777 from TPE to IAH. Overall the service was good but frustrating at times. Certain aspects were of disappointment compared to Air Canada’s or Singapore Airlines’ service. I like to get to the point. See my review of EVA’s Business Class below including some pictures.

TTST RecommendationYes

The Good:

  • Pods provided privacy and were comfortable
  • The lie flat seats were longer then Air Canada’s Dreamliner pods
  • Food quality was decent
  • Flight attendants were attentive
  • A separate mattress/cover was made up for you when you were ready for your sleep
  • Anytime noodles were offered as a midnight snack
  • Pyjamas were provided along with an amenity kit (slippers, socks, etc)
  • Wifi was available during the flight and at $25/24 hours is very reasonable

The Okay:

  • There was a bit of a language barrier
  • Service at times felt rushed on a 12 hour flight
  • I had to explain my food allergy multiple times to them which they constantly forgot about. The additional language barrier made this hard at times
